Open House and Boutique-Part Trois

The Open House and Boutique was this past Friday and Saturday.
One word-
RAIN.

There were 4 of us girls selling our wares at the Open House plus my cousin's jams and jellies.

It just wouldn't stop raining.

When the sun finally peaked out- people starting arriving. Needless to say that was at the end of the day.

So of course, I'm now in the process of moving my items into my booth.

Mr. Smith finished this desk and brought it in today.
 It has a leather top.

The girls and I had fun of course,
 eating and laughing.

Open House and Boutique

Getting ready for The Smith Hotel's 3rd Open House and Boutique this Friday and Saturday.

I always like to offer new products for our returning friends.

Trying to balance family, work, and creating new products doesn't leave much time to spend blogging or reading my 300 blogs that I follow!  Once the Open House is over-I hope to be able to visit everyone in blogland again!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

This morning started out with our traditional green pancakes.  Somewhere in our family heritage is probably some Irish-somewhere way back.

We just keep it real simple-
eat green pancakes and wear green.

Have a great St. Patrick's Day!

Creative Frenzy

Mrs. Smith's newest creations!

Added new pendants yesterday at my booth @
Oregon St. Antiques Mall.

Plus I've been busy getting ready for my Open House!
If you are near Redding, CA-stop by for a visit!

Just wishing there were a few more sunny days so I can get outside and paint!

Busy Redecorating My Booth for Spring

Rearranged items in the kitchen cabinet in my booth.
Added new items too.

Just added this lovely lady head vase.

Created 2 new banners-one with "Spring" and one with "Nest".  These would look super cute on a mantel!

Just added these fantastic lamps with feather shades to my booth.   Part of my Spring theme this year is feathers, birds, and eggs.

Newest jewelry creations-TheSmithHotel's Spring Collection-as I call them.

Funky garden nozzle pendants, vintage belt buckle necklaces, button bracelets, bottle cap pendants, and bird's nest pendants.

Can't forget the men either!  Great vintage razors and brushes plus loads of vintage tools, rusty buckets, retro office decor (which I forgot to take pictures of).

Here's Honey modeling the lastest in Spring Fashion.  A dress made out of feed sacks (I found it already made-not one to make clothing myself) and 3 new necklaces.

Also added sepia photos and vintage postcards.

I can't tell you how long I have looked for a candelabra.  This one has crystals hanging and a marble base-Sigh!

To end the tour of new items in my booth -
meet my wolverine skulls!

Nothing says "Welcome Spring"
like a couple of animal skulls!

Actually they would look pretty cool in a bird's nest under a cloche with a couple of eggs.
