No Sew Super Cheap Valance

It started very innocently....I took down the toile curtains in the bathroom to wash...
When they were down I thought it would be nice to lighten up the look for summer...thought about it for 2 weeks.......Then inspiration hit.....

Used the same rod...

I am forever picking up white material.....curtains, shower curtains, bed sheets to use for table coverings, covering up my rocker glider etc....

I bought this white flat sheet at a thrift store for $2 the other day.  I bleached it and folded it up to use when inspiration hit.

BAM!

I have a secret....I don't like to iron......so I just threw it up without ironing it!  I folded it in half and safety pinned it (didn't feel like getting out the sewing machine and plus I could always reuse the sheet later for something else).
Took some burlap ribbon that I had on hand and made a valance.  Super Easy and Super Cheap!

I took the candle holders down and put some fun dry cleaning hangers up instead.

Of course I couldn't stop there....

I redid my kitchen (that is in the bathroom) cabinet too.

From this to this...

Just lightening up everything in my bathroom.

Since my bathroom facelift is Thrifty....

I am joining Linda

  7. Love the new valance. What a change that makes. And so easy. Loving burlap as I do, the ties, in my opinion really make the piece.
