Life at The Smith Hotel

Snow has a very important job.

 She rides to school everyday and makes sure the kids make it safe. 

This is her after dropping off the kids.

It's a hard job. 

Mrs. Smith fluffs and decorates her booth.

Poor Honey, she was naked the other day. Someone had bought the black slip she was wearing. 

Mrs. Smith shoved dressed her in a bustier and pink petticoat. 

Honey is just a little too full figured for the bustier.

Mr. Smith has been busy at his "weekend job" painting away.

He even started to blog about it.

School is almost out for the Summer!

Here are my 2 lovely kiddos, Snow White and moi ~ taken on Mother's Day (it was a good hair and makeup day)!

4 more days of getting up too early and slapping the kids on the backside to get out of bed school.

It has been wet and cold here in Redding, CA-unusual for this time of year and it makes me want to hibernate! 

I can't wait to sleep in!  Oh wait~ I don't think I will be able to anytime soon.  Swim lessons start the week after school gets out (what was I thinking when I signed up), getting packed and ready to be a vendor at the Lewiston Peddlers' Faire on June 5th (no sleeping in that day for sure). 

Maybe by the 1st of July I will be able to sleep in?

Or maybe if the sun came out and it warmed up a little I might not feel like sleeping so much (or at least get to take a little nap outside). 

Summer is almost here-why am I still cold?

One of those weeks!

Mr. Smith starts his new job next week so this week has been a scramble to finish things around the house.

My first ever outside sale is next Sat. May 1st.  It will be a big event at a local high school.  Exciting but loads of work getting ready for it!

Had to take Snow (my baby) to the vet yesterday....Seems she tore a tendion on her back leg so her knee cap gets dislocated....  She is limping around with her back leg in the air.   I am having sympathy pains.....my knee hurts too.   Surgery could be in the future for her.  We need to wait for a couple of weeks to see how she is doing. 

Oh and something went wrong with the hot water heater again today.......

It's Friday right?

I am sleeping in tomorrow!

Spring is here!

Even Snow is enjoying this beautiful spring weather and she is even wearing a green dress for St. Patrick's Day.  Ah the life of a dog!

After school today, Drama Queen, Snow White and I ran out to the backyard and soaked up some rays!!!
